ANDAMAN WAVE 24 is an electronic dance music festival held yearly in Ao- Nang Beach in Krabi, Thailand. It is a vibrant festival catering to EDM enthusiasts from all corners of the globe.
Longtail Boats are one of the most iconic things about the beautiful beaches of Krabi.
I took inspiration from the bow section of the wooden boats where the boatmen wrap colorful pieces of fabric as part of decoration and molded it to give the shape of letter "K" for Krabi, which is the location. The ends make a wave representing the beautiful Andaman Sea.
I went for vibrant, lively colors to suit both the type of music being played and the location of the festival.
EDM is an energetic and lively music genre typically targeted towards young people. The location is sunny, windy and vibrant. The yellow sunshine, turquoise waters, green vegetation and white sands all inspired me when coming up with the color palette.
